The estate features 100 acres of land of beautiful native trees, wildlife running rampant, and the sounds of the Kaituna River.

A wealth of activities are on offer at Experience Outdoors New Zealand, including a 20-shot archery course picturesquely set on the banks of the Kaituna River. There’s also target shooting using pistols, rifles, bows, or slingshots.

Or choose the scenic canoe float down the river, which takes 2-3 hours and includes complimentary wine, cheese, and biscuits. There are also multiple safaris, including horse riding, deer estate, wildlife estate, or river.

Owner Kelvin O’Hara has the greatest variety of deer species at any one point you’ll find in New Zealand from Rusa to Sambar. He’s also got a huge variety of wildlife from emu and turkeys to Clydesdale ponies and peacocks.

Experience Outdoors New Zealand welcomes bookings for individuals or small groups of up to 12 people for a range of activities.
